GLOSSARY

My Collection

This section is where you will be able to view your current decks, completed decks, and add new decks to your collection. Think of My Collection as the cupboard full of every trading card collection you can imagine. Hopefully your imagination is excellent, because currently there is only one Deck available. We'll be rolling out more Decks soon.

Leader Board

Your score is calculated by adding up the total value of each card you have in your My Cards section at any given time. When you trade cards, your score could increase or decrease depending on the total value of the cards you are trading, versus the value of the cards you are receiving.

When you add the final card to your My Cards collection, you will receive a Completion Bonus. The completion bonus is calculated minute by minute, starting the moment the first card is released, and ending with zero points at the end of the promotion. The faster you collect all the cards, the higher your completion bonus score. You are welcome to continue trading cards once you have completed your collection.

My Cards

Each Deck that you have in My Collection is represented in the My Cards section. Think of the My Cards page as the beating heart of your collection. It is where all of your cards will be displayed, where you can see how many spares you have available for trade, and it's where you can unlock the cool downloadable content as a bonus for finding the card. You should be proud of your My Cards section and all the cards you have searched for, found and collected.

Each trading card has a different score value. The value of these cards are determined at the start of a deck series and will remain the same for the duration of the promotion. Trading cards are classified as either common, medium or rare when determining their point value.

However, the real value of a Cards Point Value is determined by the market forces that operate in the Trading Zone combined with how difficult a card is to be found, and the quantity of cards available for collection.

For example: a medium card might only have a score of 5000 points, but is extremely rare in market value if it is only released for a very short amount of time, has a limited quantity made available or is rare to find.

Card Releases

Each card is made available for collection at specific dates and times and is referred to as a Card Release. The duration of a Card Release can be as small as a couple of minutes, to a couple of days and even, a couple of weeks. During this time each card will be located in the same location and will not change. You can collect one card a day from within the Card Release time frame (e.g. If a Card Release is open from midnight on a Monday until noon on a Friday, you will be able to collect the same card 5 times from that Card Release.

To find out when cards are being released, you will need to check the Card Release page every couple of days to see which cards are being released and at what times. You can also subscribe to the mailing list to receive weekly updates on new cards and new deck series.

Each card release has either a fixed quantity of cards available for collection, or an unlimited amount of cards for collection. When a Card Release has a fixed amount of cards, the first users to click the links, until the total number have been allocated, will have the card added to their collection. Essentially, it's first in best dressed.

My Trades

The My Trades section is where you will setup and manage the cards you want to swap with other players and make available as Trade Offers in the Trade Search. A Trade Offer is a selection of cards that you are looking to trade in return for cards you wish to trade.

To create a Trade Offer you will first need to Name this Trade. The name you give your Trade Offer is unique to you and will help differentiate you from other players in the Trade Search. Make sure it's descriptive and snappy.

Next, select the cards you want to add to your collection under the "I want to request" list. Choose the quantity of cards you are hoping to trade using the drop down menus. Remember, not to get too greedy. This is an open market, so by asking for many cards, you're less likely to find someone to trade with!

Finally, select the spare cards you are willing to part with to get the cards you need. When you are happy with your trade, press submit and it will be made available in the Trade Search.

Important note: once your card is available in the Trade Search, anyone can accept that trade. Once it is accepted, all cards are swapped between deck collections and the result is final.

If you're not having much luck finding anyone to accept your trade you might want to consider cancelling it and trying a different configuration of cards. The more direct and simple your trade, the more likely that someone is looking for the same combination.

When someone accepts your trade, you will receive an email notification of the transaction. When you go back into your My Cards section you will find the new cards added.

Trade Search

The Trading Zone is a search facility that allows you to locate Trade Offers that match your selection criteria. By selecting from the list on the right hand side, you can choose the specific cards you are looking to trade.

Important Note: the search engine will only return Trade Offers that you are able to accept, based on the amount of spare cards you currently have available.

When you select a card name and press submit, the search engine will return every Trade Offer that contains that card as well as any other cards you may have selected.

The Points Value information can either be displayed as a positive or negative number. This value represents the combined value of the cards you are offering to trade, against the value of the cards you are hoping to trade for. A positive value means that if you accept that trade, your score will be increased by that amount, and the inverse for a negative amount.

FAQ

Why can't I trade?
You can only trade spare cards from your collection. For example: You could not trade Card#1 if you only had one copy in your collection. If you had "x02" copies of Card#1 you could only use one of that card in your Trade Offer.

How can I get spare cards?
To add more cards to your collection, the easiest way is to collect them by following the clues supplied in the Card Release section. When you another card that already exists in your collection, it becomes a spare. Spares are indicated by the "multiples spot" that appears on each of the cards in the My Cards section.

How does the Trade Search work?
The Trade Search engine will only return results for Trade Offers that you have the ability to accept.

Example a) If you only have a single spare of Card#5, the search engine will only display Trade Offers that are looking to trade for a single Card#5.

Example b) If you have spare cards for Card#5, #6 and #7, the search engine will return trade offers that include these cards in a variety of iterations.
